What exactly is going on...the Obama administration seems to be just missing the best opportunity ever presented to a President to really change things in the Foreign Policy arena.

On the Palestine issue they are just following the same track and only looking at it from the Israel point of view...we have the Hamas and the Fatah talking and forming a Unity government...which will be for the best...don’t forget that the Hamas is a legitimately elected government of the people under elections that took place...except that the result was not liked by the torch bearers of Democracy...

The present administration is insisting that the Palestinians recognize Israel...its like asking a person thrown out of his house by force to accept that the thief and the rouge have all the rights...its like allowing your mother to be trampled upon and saying that it is justified and right...what a joke...could they have just not got down to the business of rebuilding and taking the peace process forward…

Then he is getting ready to run away from Iraq just as they walked away from Afghanistan and created all the messes that followed. Plus now he wants to reach out to the Taliban in Afghanistan which means that the west once more just wants to get out of the mess that they have created without getting to its logical end...

Plus he has just extended an act that imposes sanctions and bans on Iran...an act that he could have allowed to end to show good intentions and make a fresh start...he could have imposed them again at his will in case of no progress…but at least a try could have been made…a gesture…

We also have North Korea going all ballistic due to the war games that the US and South Korea are having in the sea now...why do it…why not get into a dialogue and end the status quo.

Obama has got a vote for a Change...a change in the way America treated the world...a change in the way that others see America...He came to office promising that change...no one can believe that the bureaucracy is stifling him or the lobbyists are back at it....since he came with the donations of millions of small timers and has no strings attached...what prevents him from really reaching out and redefining Statesmanship and the art of Respecting Nations and people...Such a Shame...to see everything going waste...
