The latest that China has done is to enter into agreements through their provincial governments in Tibet and Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region with Nepal and the North West Frontier Province government in Pakistan respectively. Just before this you had a similar agreement between the Communist Party of China and the Jamat-e-Islami of Pakistan.
All these agreements are supposed to promote cooperation, trade and friendship as well as contain terrorist elements who take refuge in these regions. Another name for those being displaced in Tibet and other Muslim dominated areas of China including political foes and those who do not follow the Communist line.
All this is fine until we look at the closer picture; it is the encirclement of India from its borders. We already have lost a lot of territory in Jammu and Kashmir that has been occupied by China after Pakistan gave it away. The dispute in Arunachal is still there. We have terrorists at us from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Burma, Nepal, Sri Lanka…
China tried to road block the nuclear deal and their friends here. The Left parties who too have similar agreements for cooperation with the Communist party of China (its on record). They have long vetoed the expansion of the United Nations Security Council; locked horns in major international forums against us, helped Pakistan with weapons as well as technology for nuclear bombs and Missiles as well as North Korea - the start of the A.Q. Khan angle.
At each time they have stood by Pakistan rather look at it as against India. What China fears is an India taking her rightful place in the Globe. It keeps cutting away so that we will be kept bruising internally and stay a step behind as a regional power not yet at the Global stage.
India must step up the equations by getting proactive in Afghanistan with a greater say in world affairs on the economy, active contributions in Africa and step on the world stage with pro active tie ups with Germany, Brazil, Israel (with support for the Palestine cause) and deal very firmly with the internal strife - maybe a cross border mission or two.
China and Pakistan needs to be told that our passiveness and patience should not be looked at as weakness on our part and the tolerance that is displayed by India is more a sign of our statesmanship that just not jump to conclusions and solutions. India is able, very efficient and eager to practice and develop peaceful and friendly relations with all its neighbors but not at the cost of sacrificing its self interest.
And if things go beyond a point, we already have Sunny Paji look at what happened when he was forced to say Hindustan Murdabad. China is lucky that we have only released Akshay at them and not the Jat Brigade of Papa (Dharmender) and the two sons (Sunny and Bobby). Just one was enough for Pakistan...what say?

India have a spineless leadership. You see how bad India’s foreign policy is. Quite confusing. You see how Pakistan and China have an edge in their foreign policy. Look the leadership there. Pakistan practising Terror diplomacy, while China using trade as their diplomacy. Majority of our leaders have very old and lack vision and self serving and corrupt leadership. Their main agenda is to make benefit for other countries than our own country.
Please also see aam admi’s recent article on ”One Stop Solution on Kashmir” and improving relation with Israel and other countries.
We need a major make shift in our foreign policy. India need to show her poweress that New Delhi is not running by Puppet regime. We have able and visinary leaders committed to our nation and our people. People of India should not allow pretty sitting of our leaders and creating more and more problem. We should identify them in the interest of people at large.
